Decipher
The
next Decipher event at the Salvation Army, and open to
everyone, is on 11th September at 7pm. Appropriately,
it is based on the theme of ‘Peace’, worshipping and
praising the God of peace, listening to the experiences
of those who have made the difficult journey from anger
to peace and forgiveness and hopefully encouraging each
other to mirror this in our own lives. This is part 3 of
a series on ‘Fruits of the Spirit’. For more
information contact decipher.sa@googlemail.com

| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Boys
Brigade help needed
In September 2009 I took on the role of Officer
in charge of Company Section with just 3 boys. We are finishing
the year with 6 boys. There are a further 6 boys who are
eligible to move up from Junior Section later this year
so we will potentially have 12 boys, quadruple the
number we started with! Other sections of the BB in
Stowmarket have also grown this year . We currently have
Officers who plan the weekly sessions for all 3
sections, but we
need additional helpers to ensure that staff
ratios are maintained at required levels. We are looking
for suitable people who can regularly give one or two
hours of their time on a rota basis and are willing to
undergo the necessary checks required for working with
children. Please pray for the work of the BB in
Stowmarket and consider if you, or someone you know, may
be able to offer their time and talents. Any help,
however small, will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks. Martin Gray Tel:

are now hoping to extend the red carpet to the 2 side
aisles, in The Tyrell Chapel and The Memorial Chapel.
If
you would like to help to improve the Church and give
£10 for a carpet tile contact the
Treasurer or the Church Wardens.

Print
cartridges
The
Pre-School continue to be very grateful for used print
cartridges which they collect to raise funds for their
activities.
They can also recycle large toner cartridges from
PC printers and photocopiers (as long as they don’t
contain a ‘chip’) so if you have access to these and
they’re just being thrown away, please bring them to the
Church Office or take them direct to
Pre-School.
